2008
Steve has been appointed the Co-Artistic director of the Cartagena Music Festival! This is a world-class music festival in a beautiful colonial walled Caribbean city in the month of January. Please visit the website
Also, in exciting news, check out Steve's new program, Bach and Forth. This program features work by J.S. himself and takes you around the globe and back, featuring many great works from world music. For performance dates this summer visit Music in Menlo and Mendocino Music Festival.
Kronos performs Steve's composition "Particle 423." This crazy chaotic and colorful piece is based on American musical imagery and will be performed this August at Tangelwood. For ticket information.
Violinist, Livia Sohn, recently released Opera Fantasies for Violin, which features Steve's composition "Fantasy Extract on Themes from R. Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier" and Steve's arrangement of Osvaldo Golijov's "Ainadamar: Desde mi ventana." This album can be founds at Naxos.
Beyond Steve's musical undertakings, Steve and Sigrid have embarked on an amazing new therapy for their son AJ. As many of you know, AJ has autism and the new therapy is called Relationship Development Intervention (RDI). This is a life long treatment and more information can be found on the website.

2006 - On the popular music front, Steve appears on two albums: a piano solo on Tom Waits' "It's Over", part of his superb 3 CD release entitled "Orphans". Also Steve collaborated with Beth Waters on the track "Dark Road to Hell" from her album "This Little Piggy".
